We were hoping to see the trio together on the silver screen, but we most definitely weren\u2019t anticipating this. Ace Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar reportedly plans on breaking every stereotype associated with homosexuality and that too by roping in the three Khans.<\/p>\n
Karan Johar, who recently opened up about the challenges he faced in his childhood for being \u201ceffeminate\u201d, has now claimed that Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan and Salman Khan will be \u201chappy\u201d to play homosexuals on the silver screen.<\/p>\n
At a recent trailer launch of award-winning filmmaker Hansal Mehta\u2019s film Aligarh, starring Manoj Bajpai as a homosexual, KJo was asked if Bollywood\u2019s three Khans would have the same level of comfort to portray homosexual characters in a film.<\/p>\n
The Student of the Year director answered in the affirmative saying that it mainly depends on the script. If it is good and poignant, they wouldn\u2019t mind playing such roles.<\/p>\n
\u201cI hope that superstars like Shah Rukh, Salman and Aamir for that matter, will totally engage in a film like this. They will breathe through cinematically.\u201d Pinkvilla quoted Karan as having said.<\/p>\n
Karan himself has touched upon the taboo topic in his films such as Dostana and Mumbai Talkies. He also spoke about the challenging task of casting for the latter since it revolved around a married man who has homosexual tendencies.<\/p>\n
On the work front, KJo\u2019s upcoming directorial Kapoor and Sons, starring Alia Bhatt, Fawad Khan and Sidharth Malhotra, will hit screens on March 18.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
